
Contributed photoThe On-Ti-Ora Chapter of NSDAR honored area school’s DAR Good Citizens who embody the characteristics of dependability, service, leadership and patriotism on March 11. Recognized in person was senior Stephanie Molina Rodriguez of Hunter-Tannersville High School. Stephanie read her essay, was presented her certificate and pin and enjoyed meeting area lawyers, Ted and Nancy Hilscher who spoke with Stephanie about her aspirations to a career in the field of law. Recognized in absentia was Catskill HIgh School Senior Christopher Konsul as the chapter’s essay contest winner and Coxsackie-Athens’ senior Abigail O’Dell. All students will receive their scholarship awards at their respective school awards ceremonies. DAR member Laura Rutkowski, committee chair for Good Citizens is pictured with Stephanie Molina.
