CHATHAM — Take a Nature Quest this winter. Join in on these interactive scavenger hunts at the Public Conservation Areas around Columbia County to find the animals that live there. Collect stamps of the animals at each site by creating a rubbing of the engraved signs in the journal pages at the end of the booklet. Those who visit all eight Nature Quest trails are eligible for a prize.
CLC is offering opportunities to take Nature Quests this winter with guided walks led by Jenifer Rosete, Conservation Education Coordinator. Sign up to attend one or all of these events!
Winter programs include: Jan. 28: Nature Quest at Borden’s Pond Conservation Area; Feb. 25: Nature Quest at High Falls Conservation Area; March 8: Nature Quest at Hand Hollow Conservation Area; March 18: Nature Quest at Harris Conservation Area;
