GERMANTOWN — The Germantown Garden Club will be holding a Christmas Market 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Dec. 4 and 1-3 p.m. Dec. 5 at the Palatine Parsonage, 52 Maple Ave., Germantown. Hand-decorated, one-of-a-kind, fresh wreaths and table arrangements made by garden club members will be for sale. Houseplants from members will be available for sale along with information about how to grow and take care of them. There will also be a bake sale of delicious homemade treats. Come early. The wreaths are a best seller for the club and sell out quickly. There will also be a Boutique Sale with items to purchase. Also offered will be raffles of specialty baskets. Please attend to support us, as funds raised from this event benefit the club’s local high school scholarship fund and other community donations and projects.

Other holiday events that the club will be doing include the Annual Holiday Luncheon to be held at noon Dec. 7 at the Palatine Parsonage, 52 Maple Ave., Germantown. At this meeting, the installation of club officers will take place. Members are asked to bring a gift for one of the residents at the Livingston Hills Nursing Center. Before the meeting, the annual Adorn-A-Door contest will take place. Each year, the club sponsors this holiday decorating competition for the senior residents at Palatine Manor in Germantown. Members will be judging this event where prizes will be awarded. The seniors are very enthusiastic about this and do a fabulous job decorating the doors to their apartments.

For information on any of the club’s events, call Fran Bufi, 518-537-4868.
