Germantown Garden Club annual holiday open house

Contributed photoPictured are Gingerbread houses decorated by local children. The Germantown Garden Club held the Annual Holiday Open House at the Palatine Parsonage in Germantown. The show featured winter container plants. An exhibit of gingerbread houses created by local children were also on display. Proceeds from this event benefit the club’s local high school scholarship fund and various environmental philanthropies. At the club’s annual Holiday Luncheon held at the Palatine Parsonage the installation of officers for 2020 was held. Members brought gifts for the residents at the Livingston Hills Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. This is a club ‘Continuing Project’ for senior citizens. The club is now busy planning the programs for 2020. Club meetings are free and the public is welcome to attend. For information about the club, call President Fran Bufi at 518-537-4868.
