MOUNT KISCO — The Northern Westchester Hospital (NWH) Foundation announced that Mount Kisco resident Andrea Eisenberg, a career services consultant with over 20 years of business acumen has been appointed as a new board member. The mission of these volunteer leaders is to serve as ambassadors in the community and to provide guidance on strategic fundraising programs and initiatives for the hospital, which is part of the nonprofit health system Northwell Health.
“Andrea’s insightful and well-networked business skills make her an asset to the Foundation Board,” said Angela Kessel, chair of the NWH Foundation Board. “Her legal background, diverse consulting experience and dedication to the hospital will help steer NWH through the complex world of healthcare. We are so fortunate to have Andrea in our NWH family and look forward to engaging her further in advancing our mission.”
Andrea has led three career management and organizational consulting firms, working closely with executives from premier organizations spanning financial services, retail, media and entertainment, fashion, consumer products, and not-for-profit institutions.
An active member of NWH’s Patient and Family Advisory Council where she partners with hospital leadership to improve the patient experience, Andrea also volunteers her time at Twigs Thriftree Boutique, selling second-hand clothing and an assortment of other goods, with all proceeds donated to NWH.
Andrea has served on many non-profit boards, including the Arthritis Foundation’s Northeast Region. She has been a frequent media contact, quoted by Bloomberg, CNN, Wall Street Journal, New York Times and Crain’s. She has her B.A. in Sociology from Boston University and her J.D. from Suffolk University Law School in Boston.
