Food and Fellowship

NEW BALTIMORE — The Food and Fellowship Luncheon Program will be held noon-2 p.m. Feb. 12 at the New Baltimore Reformed Church, 52 Church St., New Baltimore. The menu (subject to change) is baked cod with macaroni and cheese, tossed salad and cherry puff pastries.

Following the meal there will be an informal folk and hymn musical duo from the Third Reformed Church in Albany appropriately named “Strings Attached,” with Mia Galva on auto harp and Sarah Hayes on ukulele.

This luncheon is open to all members of the community. To facilitate planning, reservations are encouraged by the Sunday before the luncheon. To make reservations, call the church at 518-756-8764 or email

Include name, contact number and number of reservations being made for this meal. If transportation or physical assistance is needed, leave that information as well. Dining space is limited to 60 seats. Free will offerings are graciously accepted to offset food costs.


KINGSTON — A benefit concert by Adelaide Roberts and Matthew O’Dell at 1 p.m. Feb. 16 at the Old Dutch Church, 272 Wall St., Kingston. The program will feature a four-hand piano performance of Mendelssohn’s “A Midsummer Night’s Dream” with narration provided by Marie Duane. Suggested donation is $10; proceeds will benefit the Restoration Fund at Old Dutch Church.

Pasta Fagioli

GREENPORT — Sacred Heart/Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Shrine, 442 Fairview Ave., Greenport, will serve a pasta fagioli with sausage meat lunch and dinner on Feb. 20. One quarter with bread and butter, $8. Call in orders 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. at 518-828-8775. Pick up between 11:30 a.m.-6 p.m.

Soup Dinner

CATSKILL — The Catskill United Methodist Church, 40 Woodland Ave., Catskill, will hold an all you can eat homemade soup dinner 4-7 p.m. Feb. 22. Adults and children 12 and older, $10; children 6-12, $5; children under 6, free. All proceeds benefit Twin County Recovery Services and St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.

RICHFIELD SPRINGS — Applications are currently being accepted for the 41st Annual Friendship Craft Festival sponsored by the Church Of Christ Uniting in Richfield Springs. Chicken Barbecue

HUDSON — Trinity United Methodist Church, 555 Joslen Blvd., Hudson, will be serving a chicken barbecue on Feb. 8. Take-outs will be available from 4-6:30 p.m.; dining room service from 4:30-6:30 p.m. The menu includes half a chicken, baked potato, home-made coleslaw, roll with butter, beverage and an assortment of home-made desserts. Tickets for the complete meal are $12 for adults and $6 for children under 12; chicken only is $6. Credit/debit cards will be accepted. Delivery options are available.
