Stations of the Cross

GREENPORT — Sacred Heart/Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Shrine, 442 Fairview Ave., Greenport, hosting Stations of the Cross at 7 p.m. Fridays during Lent through April 2.

Soup Kitchen Open

CATSKILL — The Camp Grace Inc. Soup Kitchen, located at the First Reformed Church of Catskill, 310 Main St., Catskill, is open noon-1 p.m. Tuesday through Friday. For information, call Director Lamont Taylor at 518-249-7009.

Purim Celebration

HUDSON — Congregation Anshe Emeth, 240 Joslen Blvd., Hudson, annual Purim Celebration will be held at 6 p.m. Feb. 25 via Zoom. The Scroll of Esther will be read by Rabbi Daniel Fried in Hebrew and English parts have been distributed to other members of the community. Pasta Fagioli

GREENPORT — Sacred Heart/Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Shrine, 442 Fairview Ave., Greenport, will serve a pasta fagioli with sausage meat for pickup lunch and dinner 11:30 a.m.-6 p.m. Feb. 22. Call in orders 9 a.m.-5:30 p.m. day of, 518-828-8775. One quart with bread and butter, $8. Take out from the Shrine.

Book and Bake Sale

ELIZAVILLE — The Elizaville United Methodist Church will hold a “Book and Bake Sale” 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Feb. 20 at the Elizaville United Methodist Church, 740 County Route 2, Elizaville. If the weather is bad, the snow date will be 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Feb. 21. There will books for all ages for sale, DVDs, puzzles, and baked goods. Breakfast and lunch will be available (take out only). Brooks’ Barbecue

EAST BERNE — Helderberg Christian School, 96 Main St., East Berne, will hold a Brooks’ Barbecue fundraiser 4-6:30 p.m. March 11, drive thru/take out only. COVID guidelines apply. Chicken dinner, $13 preordered or $14 day of event. Call by March 9 to preorder, 518-499-5416.

Corned Beef and Cabbage Dinner

SOUTH BETHLEHEM — The South Bethlehem United Methodist Church, 67 Willowbrook Ave, South Bethlehem, will host a take out only by reservation corned beef and cabbage dinner 3:30-6:30 p.m. March 12. Drive-Thru Lunch

GHENT — The Ghent Reformed Church is restarting its drive-thru lunches, which, due to Covid, replaced the free community dinners. Lunch will be served beginning at noon March 20 at the church, 1039 County Route 22, West Ghent. The current menu is turkey salad, egg salad and tomato bisque soup. Also available will be to-go communion.

Old Chatham Quaker Meeting

Christ Our Emmanuel Lutheran Church

CHATHAM — Christ Our Emmanuel Lutheran Church, 19 Park Row, Chatham, worships at 9:30 a.m. Sunday. Face masks are required, social distancing must be maintained, and cleaning protocols will be followed.

Ghent Reformed Church

GHENT — The Ghent Reformed Church, 1039 County Route 22, Ghent, worships at 9 a.m. Sunday. The church is complying with the required safety requirements. No coffee hour after worship at this time. Sunday School will be at 10:15 a.m., masks mandatory. There is instruction available for children 3 through the 8th grade. Grace Bible Fellowship Church

RHINEBECK — Grace Bible Fellowship Church, 6959 Route 9, Rhinebeck, worships at 10:45 a.m. and 6 p.m. Sunday. Sunday School for all ages meets at 9:30 a.m. Women’s bible study and Grace Bible Institute meets at 7 p.m. Mondays. Mid-week prayer meeting is at 7 p.m. Wednesdays.
