COXSACKIE —The Village of Coxsackie hosts Music in Coxsackie 6-8 p.m. July 19 in Riverside Park. Performing will be The Reverberators.

July 23

ATHENS — Greene County Region Blue Star Mothers will serve a drive-thru only chicken barbecue 3:30-6:30 p.m. July 23 at the Athens American Legion Post, 94 Second St., Athens. Drive-thru pickups and limited delivery. Dinners include half a chicken, baked potato, corn on the cob, cole slaw, roll and butter and cookies. Dinners are $14; veterans, $5; veterans plus one, $15. Pre-sale only. Tickets can be purchased from any Blue Star Mother or call Karen Dudley at 407-741-3757. Tickets can also be picked up in advance between 4-8 p.m. July 15 at the Athens American Legion Hall.

COXSACKIE — Bethel AME Church, 123 Mansion St., Coxsackie, will host a rib or chicken dinner barbecue beginning at noon July 25. Dinners include green beans, macaroni salad, corn on the cob and cake. To pre-order, call 518-731-8887. Call 518-731-7767 on July 24 and July 25.

Aug. 16

WINDHAM — The Greene County Women’s League Cancer Patient Aid car show will be held 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Aug. 16 at the Chicken Run Family Restaurant and Steak House, 5639 Route 23, Windham. A $10 minimum donation per entrant is requested. Open to all years, makes and models. Trophies awarded at 2 p.m. to Top 20 vehicles, people’s choice, motorcycle, and more. There is also a $500 best in show Classic. Registration from 9-11 a.m. it will be held rain or shine. Facial coverings will be required and social distancing guidelines will be followed.
