ELIZAVILLE — The Elizaville United Methodist Church will hold a “Book and Bake Sale” 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Feb. 20 at the Elizaville United Methodist Church, 740 County Route 2, Elizaville. If the weather is bad, the snow date will be 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Feb. 21. There will books for all ages for sale, DVDs, puzzles, and baked goods. Breakfast and lunch will be available (take out only). COPAKE — Learn about the basics of wildlife tracking with this family-friendly outdoor event 10 a.m.-noon Feb. 20. Join Greenagers Conservation Director Elia Del Molino for a hike around Roeliff Jansen Community Library, 9091 Route 22, Copake, where we will be looking for spoor (tracks and signs) of bears, bobcats, weasels, porcupines, red foxes, gray foxes, coyotes, and house cats. Kids of all ages are welcome. Originally founded in 2007 as a program of The Center for Peace Through Culture, Greenagers is an eco-friendly organization aimed at educating kids and teens about conservation, sustainable farming, and environmental leadership.
