VALATIE — Finding Hope, discussions on New York’s overdose and fentanyl crisis 3-5 p.m. April 12 at Ichabod Crane High School Auditorium, 2910 Route 9, Valatie. Panelists will include Assemblyman Scott Bendett, Columbia County Sheriff Donald Krapf, Sen. Michelle Hinchey and Dr. William Murphy. They will be discussing addiction, treatment and are eager to hear from professionals and those who have been impacted.

HUDSON FALLS — Lynch Mob will be playing at 7:30 p.m. April 12 at the Strand Theatre, 210 Main St., Hudson. This is part of The Final Ride farewell tour.

KINDERHOOK — The Columbia Land Conservancy will host an Apple Tree Care Workshop 10-11:30 a.m. April 13 at Samascott Orchards, 5 Sunset Ave., Kinderhook. Led by Jake Samascott and CLC trustee Will Yandik, learn how to care for apple trees and develop skills to take home.

This event will include limited walking on flat ground in the apple orchard. Bring a water bottle, weather appropriate clothing and footwear, work gloves and sunscreen. No dogs. GREAT BARRINGTON, Massachusestts — The Berkshire Bach Society continues its regular 2023-2024 season with The Organ Masters-II: Peter Sykes plays the great Roosevelt Organ at 4 p.m. April 13 at the First Congregational Church, 251 Main St., Great Barrington, Massachusetts. HUDSON — The FASNY Museum of Firefighting, 117 Harry Howard Ave., Hudson, is hosting a free event, Mini-Horses Mania at 10:30 a.m. April 20.

First, visit the “adoption barn” and learn all about how firefighters cared for fire horses. Then pick your own stuffed horse to adopt and call your own.

All kids will have the opportunity to meet the mini horses from Little Brook Farm. Get to know and show your love to this handsome pair of minis.

All activities are free and will be outdoors (tents will be used in the event of rain). Admission to the Museum will also be free to all who attend this special event. Reservations are not required.
