Bank of Greene County announces promotions

CATSKILL — Donald Gibson, President & CEO of the Bank of Greene County, announces employee promotions across the bank. Gibson said, “Due to the continued growth and success of the Bank, it is my pleasure to announce we have promoted several dedicated employees to positions of increased responsibility within various departments. It is particularly rewarding when all of the employees promoted are from within our company, and have grown with us over the years.”

Mary Seely has been promoted to Senior Vice President and Director of Human Resources.

Seely joined the bank as VP of Human Resources over 5 years ago and has more than 20 years of experience in Human Resources. She holds a Bachelors of Arts Degree from the College of Holy Cross, Worcester, Mass. and various certificates in human resources. Seely lives in Delmar and serves on many community organizations.

Robert Agostinoni has been promoted to Vice President of Corporate Lending. Agostinoni has worked for the Bank for more than 16 years, in positions of increased responsibility in both residential and commercial lending. Agostinoni has a Bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Oneonta and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the College of St. Rose. He serves on the Board of the Greene County Chamber of Commerce, and lives in Cairo.

Brian Stickles has been promoted to Vice President of Corporate Lending. He began his career with the Bank more than 14 years ago, and has held a variety of positions of increasing responsibility in the Bank’s Commercial Lending Department. Stickles has an Associate’s degree in Business Administration from Columbia-Greene Community College, a Bachelor’s degree in Applied Economics and Management from Cornell University, and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the College of Saint Rose. He is a resident of Germantown, and serves on the Boards of Columbia Economic Development Corporation and the Columbia County Chamber of Commerce.

Anne Carlisle has been promoted to Executive Assistant and Board Secretary. Carlisle has been with the Bank for more than 2 years, and has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from SUNY Albany. She lives in Kinderhook and is a member of The Kinderhook Ladies Auxiliary.

Natalie Irvis has been promoted to Senior Loan Servicing Associate. Irvis has been with the Bank for over 4 years and has held positions of increased responsibility in the lending department. She volunteers at the Ronald McDonald house and lives in Catskill.

Cameron Tiernan has been promoted to Senior Municipal Banking Associate. Tiernan has been with the bank for 2 years and has a Bachelor’s degree from SUNY Cortland. He lives in Stockport.

Allen Krom has been promoted to Branch Manager of the Kinderhook/Valatie Branch. Krom has been with the bank for nearly 2 years and has held positions of increased responsibility within the branch network. He is involved with the Hudson Flag Day Parade Committee, Pastoral Council for St. Mary’s/Holy Trinity Church, and the Valatie Santa Claus Club. He lives in Greenport.

Lindsey Connors has been promoted to Assistant Branch Manager of the Wolf Road Albany Branch. Connors has been with the Bank for almost 2 years and has held positions of increased responsibility within the branch network. She lives in North Greenbush.

Alexandrea Lemus-Aguirre has been promoted to Assistant Branch Manager. Lemus-Aguirre has been with the bank for over 2 years and has held positions of increased responsibility within the branch network. She attended Columbia–Greene Community College and lives in Catskill.

Alexis Newton has been promoted to Assistant Branch Manager of the Greenport/Hudson branch. Newton has been with the Bank for over 3 years and has held positions of increased responsibility within the branch network. She is a graduate of Chatham High School and lives in Chatham.
