CATSKILL — A two-car accident Wednesday evening left two Greene County residents injured, state police said Thursday.
Maya Mann, 18, of Catskill was driving a 2008 Volkswagen Jetta on Cauterskill Road at about 4:45 p.m. when she lost control of the vehicle and struck a 2008 Honda Accord driven by Gregory Carlson, 19, of Palenville, according to state police.
“[Mann] was transported to Albany Medical Center by ambulance for chest pain,” state police Public Information Officer Steven Nevel said, adding that Mann has been released. “[Carlson] sustained compound fractures and was taken by helicopter to Albany Medical Center.”
Carlson was listed in stable condition, Nevel said Thursday.
Two passengers in Mann’s vehicle were taken to Columbia Memorial Hospital for evaluation, Nevel said. The condition of the passengers was not immediately known.
