VALATIE — Tierra Farm, a manufacturer and distributor of certified organic food and coffee products based in Valatie announces its inclusion the 2017 Inc. 5000 list of fastest-growing privately-held companies in America. Tierra Farm enters the list for the first time ranked at 4,855. This designation coincides with a rapid increase in production output, growing 11 percent in 2016. Tierra Farm generated more than $21.4 million in sales in 2016 through the sale of its more than 200 products. An additional 15 percent production increase is expected for the 2017 fiscal year. The company’s overall three-year growth has been 44.82 percent.

“Tierra Farm’s achievements come down to an across-the-board effort on the part of our entire staff, from production to the front office,” said Todd Kletter, Tierra Farm CEO. “Our continued commitment will help us reach even higher levels, without sacrificing our quality or small business feel. I’m extremely proud of the staff here as we all share in this remarkable designation together.”

Each year for 36 years, Inc. has recognized the fastest growing companies in the U.S. in terms of revenue growth. Companies receiving this designation in the past include Microsoft, Under Armor, Timberland, Vizio, and other brands that have gone on to become household names.

“The Inc. 5000 is the most persuasive evidence I know that the American Dream is still alive,” says Inc. President and Editor-In-Chief Eric Schurenberg. “The founders and CEOs of the Inc. 5000 tell us they think determination, risk taking, and vision were the keys to their success, and I believe them.”

All of Tierra Farm’s products are produced in small, hand-crafted batches and are 100% certified organic, certified gluten-free, certified kosher and GMO-free. The majority of business generated at Tierra Farm comes from bulk and pre-packaged sales of its products to cooperatives, health food stores, and independently-owned grocery stores nationwide. To meet the immediate demand for its products at outlets in the western U.S., Tierra Farm recently opened a satellite facility in a suburb of Denver, Colorado.
