Sipos receives award from Council of Industry

POUGHKEEPSIE — Tom Sipos, host of the popular talk show, Hudson Valley Focus Live, has received the Council of Industry’s 2018 Manufacturing Champions Public Sector Award for “relentlessly calling attention to the important role manufacturing plays in our regional and national economy” ... Harold King, Executive VP of the Council of Industry of the Hudson Valley.

Sipos was a co-owner of Sipos Insurance for nearly 40 years. He served on the boards and was past Chairman of the Dutchess County Economic Development Corporation and Workforce Investment Board, and Chairman of the SUNY New Paltz School of Business Advisory Council. He currently serves on the advisory board of the Dutchess B.O.C.E.S Career and Technology Institute and the Cornell Cooperative Extension of Dutchess County. He was the founder of The Dutchess Alliance for Human Needs.

Hudson Valley Focus Live can be heard 6-9 a.m. Monday through Friday on WKIP 1450 & 1370 AM, 98.5 FM, streaming online and on IHeart Radio. 2018 marks the sixth year on air for this show.
