Police seek bank robbery suspect

STANFORD — State police at Poughkeepsie are seeking the public’s assistance to help identify a man wanted in connection with a bank robbery that occurred at the Bank of Millbrook, Stanfordville Branch, located at 11 Hunns Lake Road, in the Town of Stanford.

A male subject entered the bank, displaying what appeared to be a handgun, and stole an undisclosed amount of money. The suspect is believed to have left the bank in a light-colored minivan on Aug. 7 at approximately 1:13 p.m, according to state police.

The suspect, who can be seen on bank surveillance cameras, is described as a white male between 25 and 35 years old, 5 feet 10 inches tall, wearing a dark-colored winter cap, winter coat, dark-colored pants, blue latex-type gloves, a surgical mask and sunglasses.
