CATSKILL — State police searches conducted at a home at 139 Broome St. in the village of Catskill and at another residence on Tool House Road are connected to the disappearance of a man nine months ago, state police confirmed Thursday.

State police Public Information Officer Steve Nevil said Thursday afternoon that the ongoing investigation into the disappearance of Brandyn Dayne Foster, 31, who was reported missing on Jan. 30, led them to Catskill and to the two homes that were the focus of Thursday’s intensive search effort.

Foster was reported missing, under suspicious circumstances, to the town of Woodstock Police Department, according to state police Thursday. Woodstock Town Police said all calls about Foster and the case are being referred to state police at Catskill.

State police at the scene of both the

Broome Street
and
Tool House Road
addresses did not released any details about the searches. A trooper who answered the phone at state police at Catskill said no details were being released.

State police at Catskill are seeking the public’s help with finding Foster. If you have any information regarding Foster’s whereabouts or information identifying the person or persons involved in his disappearance, state police ask you to contact them at 518-622-8600.
