HUDSON – A man was flown via helicopter to Albany Medical Center after he was stabbed in the abdomen Thursday, police said.

The alleged stabbing occurred at Schulyer Court Apartments, 20 Columbia St., and was reported to police before 10 p.m., police said.

As of 10:30 p.m. Thursday, police were searching for a suspect and the knife, said Lt. David Miller, who was at the scene. As of that time, the alleged victim’s condition was unknown to police, Miller said. His name has not been released.

Hudson and New York state police were at the scene, which was cordoned off with yellow police tape.
