New Baltimore man charged with sexual abuse

NEW BALTIMORE — A New Baltimore man was arrested Thursday on a sexual abuse charge following an investigation which began Wednesday, according to a statement from the Greene County Sheriff’s Office.

Paul Boehlke, 20, of New Baltimore, was charged with first-degree sexual abuse, a class D felony, and endangering the welfare of a child, a class A misdemeanor, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

Boehlke was arraigned in the New Baltimore Town Court and held in lieu of $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond with an order of protection issued, according to the Sheriff’s Office.

The Sheriff’s Office was assisted by state police, the Greene County District Attorney’s Office and Greene County Child Protective Services in the investigation.
