Little Ray’s Nature Center recognizes that many families have children with special needs who could benefit greatly from these events however, may not be able to attend as they may not do well in crowds. We will be opening at 9:00 am on Saturday, November 17 for special needs families to attend as our guests. This first hour will be families with special needs and of course, siblings are welcome.

We are certain people appreciate the expense of putting on these events but we do not want to be cost prohibitive. If you know anyone who would like to attend but for one reason or another this is not possible for financial reasons, email and we will gladly arrange entrance that works for them/you!

Two families will win an amazing meet and greet with a sloth. To be entered in this intimate encounter with one of nature’s coolest and most mysterious animals, you must share their facebook event on social media. To share the event for your chance to win the VIP meet and greet, please visit:

In addition to helping fund one of the largest animal rescues in North America (Little Rays Nature Centers), a portions of proceeds will be going to the Sloth Conservation Foundation & to the Wildlife Conservation Society.
