Mary Ann Ingham, age 85, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 30th, with her loving family by her side. She was born July 13, 1934 in Hudson to Anna (Paone) and Frank Buffa. She married Robert Ingham on April 21, 1957 and they welcomed their only son, Robert (Skip), on March 20, 1966. Skip became the most important part of Mary Ann’s life.
Mary Ann was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was an assembly-line worker, retiring from Kaz Manufacturing in 2002. In her retirement, she focused on caring for her family. She enjoyed to watch her stories, drink coffee with her sisters and play the numbers. Mary Ann is survived by her husband of 62 years, Robert, her son, Skip (Karen), and grandsons, Joshua and Jason. In addition, sisters Anna Osterhoudt, Marge Peters, Louise Harling, Diane Phelps, brothers Frank Buffa, Donald Buffa and many nieces and nephews will deeply miss her. Mary Ann is predeceased by her sisters Katherine Rocco, Lena Moore and Rose Hodges and brothers Samuel, Joseph and Tony Buffa.
A funeral service is scheduled for 11 am on Friday, December 6th at the Church of Saint Joseph in Stuyvesant Falls. Rev. George Fleming will officiate.
