Leslie E. Moore “Butch”

Leslie E. Moore “Butch” of Hudson, NY died in the early morning on Saturday, January 6 in Liberty, NC. He was a long time resident of both Tivoli and Hudson. Born on July 12, 1951, he attended both the Tivoli Union Free School and Red Hook Senior High School. Leslie enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and regular trips to Chinatown with his wife Janet, who he married on July 2, 1994. He loved tending to his vegetable and flower gardens. Leslie devoted 25 years to the Tivoli Fire Department and was a Lifetime Member. He also helped establish the Tivoli Rescue Squad. He was retired from his longtime career as a Truck Driver for Metro North Railroad. Leslie is predeceased by his parents, Harold E. Moore and Elizabeth H. Shook-Moore, and his wife Janet Currier-Moore. Leslie is survived by his son Wayne Moore, wife Melissa, two Grandchildren Lakota and Sebastian of Tivoli, NY, his daughter Elizabeth Moore-Shanders, husband Bernard of Marion, NY, and his partner Karen Miller of Liberty, NC.

Moore “Butch” on Saturday January 13th from 4-9 pm at the Red Hook Community Center, 59 Fisk Street, Red Hook, NY.
