“It has been an exciting season and we are looking forward to an even more exciting postseason,” TH coach Angela Webster said.

Taconic Hills 0, Coxsackie-Athens 0

CRARYVILLE — On a rainy pitch, Coxsackie-Athens visited the Taconic Hills turf on senior night Thursday and left with a 0-0 draw.

Early on Coxsackie was able to control the ball by putting early pressure on the Taconic back line. As the period went on, Taconic Hills started to mount organized attacks but the back line of Coxsackie continued to be stingy.

The first half ended how it started at 0-0. In the second half both teams were able to put together nice passing attacks, but strong goalie work kept the ball out of the net. Regulation ended 0-0.

In both overtimes the game seemed to play out similar. TH was able to control the ball movement in the OT periods, but C-A’s defense did not allow any space for shots.
