Joyce Wildermuth Keil, 90, passed away peacefully September 6, 2019 at Whittier Nursing Home after a short battle with cancer.
She was born on October 31, 1928 in Philmont, to Stanley and Alta (Traver) Wildermuth. Most notably Joyce was the proprietor and soup maker of the Mouse House in Hudson. Which was known for its gourmet cheese and homemade soups. She will be remembered for her laughter and smile. Joyce is survived by her two sons and daughters in law; Craig and Kim, and Wayne and Carol. Her six grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Chester G Keil, grandson Ethan Keil, her sister Irene Coons, and brothers, Stanley “Bud” and Harold Wildermuth.
Visitation will be Wednesday evening, September 11, 2019 from 5:30 to 6:30 at Bates and Anderson – Redmond & Keeler Funeral Home, 110 Green Street, Hudson, New York.
