CATSKILL — A Columbia County man faces numerous drug-related charges after he was arrested in Catskill on Wednesday, the Greene County District Attorney’s office said Thursday.
Mark A. Burnett, 31, of Hudson, was arrested and arraigned on a warrant issued by Greene County Judge Terry J. Wilhelm. Burnett is charged with two counts of criminal sale of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree: narcotic drug, cocaine, a class B felony; and two counts of criminal possession of a controlled substance in the 3rd degree: narcotic drug with intent to sell, a class B felony, the district attorney’s office said.
Bail was set at $25,000 cash or $50,000 bond, the district attorney’s office said.
The arrest was based on a joint investigation by the Greene County District Attorney’s Office, state police, Greene County Sheriff’s Office and Village of Catskill Police Department.
