MIDDLETOWN -- Logan's Groat's second goal of the game -- with 3.1 seconds remaining in overtime -- gave Ichabod Crane a 2-1 victory over Lackawanna in a New York State Class B boys soccer semfinal at a cold and blustery Twin Towers Field on Saturday morning.

The Riders (20-0-1) will play for the state Class B championship Sunday morning at 10 against Westhill or Center Moriches.

Ichabod Crane, the No. 2 ranked Class B team in the state, threatened several times in the first half, but failed to score until Groat connected with 1:34 remaining in the stanza.

The 1-0 lead held up until Lackawanna's Ali Alomari scored with 16:33 remaining in regulation.

Neither team would score again until Groat connected with time winding down in overtime.
