Friends of the Hudson Area Library hosting the Roaming Paintress

HUDSON — Join the Friends of the Hudson Area Library and the Roaming Paintress for an afternoon of artistic expression and adult (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) beverages.

Participants will create their own unique version of an evening water scene, all under the expert guidance of the Roaming Paintress.

The event takes place at 3 p.m. Nov. 16 at Club Helsinki, 405 Columbia St., Hudson.

The $35 fee includes all supplies, light refreshments and a donation to the Friends of the Hudson Area Library. Beverages will be available for separate purchase from the bar.

Reservations may be made online at with a $10 nonrefundable deposit.

The balance of $25 in cash only may be paid at the event.

Reservations may also be made at the Hudson Area Library, 51 North Fifth St., Hudson.

To assure a spot and materials, register by Nov. 15.

Founded in 1999, the Friends of the Hudson Area Library contributes to library collections, programming and additional needs of the library.

The Friends meet at 6:30 p.m. on the third Wednesday of each month in the Community Room at the Hudson Area Library. New members are always welcome.
