CATSKILL — The Kiskatom Fire Department annual chicken barbecue will be held 4:30-7 p.m. Sept. 15 at the firehouse, 4838 Route 32, Catskill. All you can eat chicken barbecue, corn on the cob, potato salad, cucumber salad, baked beans, rolls, beverage, watermelon with takeout and homemade desserts with eat in. Take-outs from 3-4 p.m. Adults, $13; children 6-12, $6; children 5 and younger free, with paid adult ticket.
KINDERHOOK — The Nancy G. Comeau Ovarian Cancer Awareness Luncheon will be held 11 a.m.-noon Sept. 15 at the Kinderhook Lake Community Hall, Electric Park Road off of Route 203, Electric Park. There will be a buffet lunch & raffle prizes, prizes for youngsters and adults. Gathering together to help raise money for Ovarian Cancer Awareness. All proceeds goes to Caring Together, Inc. Spaghetti Dinner Benefits
STOCKPORT — A spaghetti dinner and raffle will be held to benefit Julie Lovelace 3-6 p.m. Sept. 15 at the Stockport Firehouse, 128 County Route 25, Stockport. Take out only. Pulled Pork BBQ
VALATIE — A Drive Thru Pulled Pork BBQ will be served 4-7 p.m. Sept. 15 at First Presbyterian Church of Valatie, 3212 Church St., Valatie. Side dishes include baked beans, cornbread, coleslaw, our signature BBQ sauce and dessert, all homemade, prepared by congregation members. Advance sale tickets are recommended. Tickets are $14. Tickets are available from church members and for information, call Marge at 518-929-2318.
ANDES — Wayside Tap Room and Farm Catskills are joining forces again to host the Second Annual Fall Pig Roast and Fundraiser to support the Andes School on Sept. 15. Proceeds will be used to buy a beef cow for the Andes Central School lunch cafeteria where it will be prepared and served to students throughout the remainder of the 2018-2019 school year.
Wayside Cider Tap room will open its doors at noon and will be serving until 4 p.m. An all-day pass for a single price allows guests to feast on pork provided by Bovina’s Glenanore Farm, sides and desserts.
A meal ticket costs $30 in advance; $35 at the door; $5 for donation and music only. Local and guest bands will play all day and there will be an auction of artwork and products supplied by local artists and businesses.

GERMANTOWN — The Roe Jan Creek Boat Club annual beef barbecue will be held Sept. 16 on the grounds. Grounds open at 1 p.m. with the barbecue served at 2 p.m. All you can eat.
