The Columbia Clippers 12U travel baseball team finished their regular season with a 10-2 record, tops amongst high-silver teams in the Eastern New York Travel Baseball (ENYTB) League.

This past weekend, the Clippers entered the ENYTB Last Man Standing post-season tournament as the top-seeded team among 27 entries.

The Clippers had a 3–1 record in pool play with victories against the Brunswick Buckeyes, 14-2, the South Troy Devil Cats, 20-19, and the host Duanesburg Cyclones, 11-7, in the semifinals. They came up short in the championship game, falling 6-0 against the East Greenbush Athletics.

The Clippers players are recent graduates of sixth and seventh grade, hailing from the towns of Kinderhook, Stuyvesant, Ghent and Nassau.
