COPAKE — The Copake Grange announces a summer Open Mic Night for all!
Calling all amateur performers Friday, June 22, 7–10 p.m. The Copake Grange is looking for community members with hidden talent and a desire to perform onstage.
The Grange will provide the piano. You bring a song, poem, story, skit, or a musical instrument piece. It’s open mic, and pretty much anything goes.
Sign up is at the door so be sure to get there early to secure your spot.
Bring your favorite snacks to share.
The Grange Hall was built in 1902 and is on the National Historic Register. The Copake Grange was a thriving organization through the 20th century, but over the past decade, the membership was dropping. The Grange members knew that if the organization could not be sustained, the building would return to the ownership of the NYS Grange. Visit copakegrange.org for more details.
