CATSKILL — Lowe’s of Catskill, 60 Catskill Commons, will be serving a veterans’ breakfast 7-10 a.m. May 18 under the tent in the main parking lot. A free breakfast will be served to all veteran and active duty military personnel. There will be entertainment, prizes and information available to all. This is a rain-or-shine event.

HUNTER — Hunter-Tannersville Class of 2021 will host Touch-a-Truck from 11 a.m.-2 p.m. May 19 at Hunter Elementary School. This is n interactive community event held in a festival-type atmosphere where children can learn about and explore various vehicles, as well as meet the people who use these vehicles to serve the community. Vehicles include fire trucks, police cars, excavation equipment and more. There will also be games, face painting and food. Admission is $5; family rate, $20; children 2 and younger, free.
