Brewers of Oakwood: Digging into Troy’s Brewing Past

TROY — On Thursday June 13th the Friends of Oakwood and Rare Form Brewery will present an illustrated talk by local beer historian Gerry Lorentz at the Earl Chapel. The event will include drinks by Rare Form and the release of a special beer, the Dead Brewers’ Collaboration, created in honor of Troy’s brewers. There will also be an exhibit of local beer memorabilia from the Hudson Mohawk Industrial Gateway. Doors will open at 6 p.m. so you can have a beer, socialize and view the display before the 7pm program.

Adults Only. Proof of age will be required at the door.

The Friends of Oakwood is a 501(c)3 non-profit volunteer group working to support the preservation and maintenance of the non-sectarian chapel and grounds of Troy’s still-active historic 19th C.
