Beauford's triple-double sparks Hudson girls

HUDSON -- Deja Beauford had a triple-double with 31 points, 13 rebounds and 10 steals to highlight Hudson's 75-33 victory over Coxsackie-Athens in Friday's Patroon Conference girls basketball game.

Nya Robinson had 16 points, six rebounds and five assists and Nicole Conte contributed 12 points and seven rebounds for Hudson, which finishes 16-2 in the Patroon.

Ryan Carroll led C-A with 17 points.

Hudson built quarterly leads of 18-5, 43-12 and 59-24.

CATSKILL -- Catskill fell behind early, but outscored Taconic Hills 37-15 in the middle two quarters to extend its winning streak to three games with a 53-34 Patroon Conference girls basketball victory over the Titans on Friday.

Cats trailed 9-3 through one quarter, but a 17-7 run in the second stanza, followed by a 20-8 spurt in the third helped the cat pull away.

Ashley Shook led Catskill with 15 points. Hannah Konsul chipped in with 13 and Janay Brantley had 12.

Morgan Hoose had nine points and Chandler Hoose eight for Taconic Hills.

RENSSELAER -- Patroon Conference champion Maple Hill finished it league schedule with a perfect record after defeating Rensselaer, 56-45, Friday night.

The Wildcats (18-0, 19-1) led 17-8 after one quarter, 29-18 at halftime and 45-31 through three quarters.

Stacia Coyne had 13 points and Paige Bleau 12 for Maple Hill.

Mechalle Cancer led the Rams with 16 points. Navia Bynum chipped in with 13.

CHATHAM -- Trailing by six at the start of the fourth quarter, Greenville went on a 15-5 over the final eight minutes to pull out a 45-41 victory over Chatham in Friday's Patroon Conference girls basketball game.

Chatham fell behind 12-10 after one quarter but went ahead 22-20 at halftime and 36-30 after three quarters, before Greenville took control of the game in the final stanza.

Lauren Rauf led the Spartans with 11 points. Natalie Krasney contributed 10.

Brooke-Lyn Doyle was Chatham's high scorer with 15 points.

Jamira Galloway topped Albany Leadership with 21 points.

VALATIE -- Madie Graham's 22 points led Ichabod Crane to a 52-47 overtime victory over Schalmont in Friday's Colonial Council girls basketball victory.

Kyla Elliott had 12 points for the Riders, who finish the regular season 7-9 in the Colonial and 9-11 overall.

Haley Burchhardt topped Schalmont with 20 points. Emily Lenehan had 19.

CATSKILL -- Janay Brantley had 20 points, including five 3-pointers, 11 rebounds and seven assists to lead Catskill to its fourth straight victory, a 45-36 non-league decision over Hunter-Tannersville on Saturday.

Playing its fifth game in eight days, Catskill led 11-10 after one quarter, but fell behind, 23-21, at halftime. The Cats surged ahead, 35-29 after three quarters, then put the game away with a 10-7 scoring edge in the final stanza.

Ashley Shook followed Brantley with 11 points for Catskill. Hannah Konsul had six points and 12 rebounds.
