Beauford, Robinson spark Hudson girls

CAIRO -- Deja Beauford and Nya Robinson each scored 20 points as Hudson bunced back from a loss to Maple Hill with a 61-49 road victory in Friday's Patroon Conference girls basketball game.

Beauford also grabbed 12 rebounds and Robinson dished out seven assists for the Bluehawks (9-2, 9-4). 

Jolie Poulsen led Cairo-Durham with 18 points. Arianna Myers added 13.

Hudson hosts Rensselaer and Cairo-Durham goes to Chatham on Tuesday at 6:30 p.m.

Catskill 48, Coxsackie-Athens 37

COXSACKIE -- Janay Brantley had 18 points in Catskill's 48-37 Patroon Conference girls basketball victory over Coxsackie-Athens on Friday.

The Cats posted quarterly leads of 15-8, 32-18 and 38-30.

Ashley Shook had 13 points for Catskill.

Anya Josberger's 13 points paced C-A.

Catskill hosts Maple Hill and Coxsackie-Athens visits Taconic Hills on Tuesday.

Greenville 56, Taconic Hills 39

GREENVILLE -- Isabela Trostle and Skyla Van Fleet combined for 30 points as Greenville defeated Taconic Hills, 56-39, in Friday's PAtroon Conference girls basketball game.

Trostle had 16 points and Van Fleet added 14 for the Spartans, who built quarterly leads of 17-7, 30-15 and 44-25.

Marleah Perry hit three 3-pointers and finished with 14 points for the Titans. Morgan Hoose chipped i with 11.

Greenville hosts Albany Leadership and Taconic Hills entertains Coxsackie-Athens on Tuesday.

Maple Hill 55, Chatham 41

CASTLETON -- Stacia Coyne scored 14 points and Lauryn Smith had 12 to spark Patroon Conference-leading Maple Hill to a 55-41 victory over Chatham in Friday's girls basketball game.

The Wildcats (11-0) led 20-5 after one quarter, 38-11 at halftime and 47-26 through three quarters.

Maple Hill travels to Catskill and Chatham entertains Cairo-Durham on Tuesday.

COLONIAL COUNCIL

Watervliet 49, Ichabod Crane 41

WATERVLIET -- Watervliet overcame a slow start to hand Ichabod Crane a 49-41 loss in Friday's Colonial Council girls basketball game.

The cannoneers fell behind 11-4 after one quarter of action, but rallied to take a 23-21 edge at halftime and it extended it to 37-34 through three quarters.

Madison Soroka led Watervliet with 11 points. Makayla Milligan had 10.

Riley Paul's 14 points paced the Riders. Kyla Elliott had nine.

Ichabod Crane plays host to Voorheesville on Tuesday at 6 p.m.

Germantown 61, Bishop Maginn 25

GERMANTOWN -- Germantown had 10 players reach the scoring Friday in a 61-25 Central Hudson Valley League girls basketball victory over Bishop Maginn.

Kayce Hayes was the Clippers' lone double-figure scorer with 10 points.  Jen Ljutich had nine and Riley Gibbons and Megan Dunn eight apiece.

Salomi Willingham led Maginn with 12 points.

Germantown hosts Doane Stuart on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.
