Barnwell residents stuff backpacks for students

Empty
Residents from The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Barnwell recently stuffed 22 backpacks full of school supplies for Columbia Opportunities, the Community Action Program serving low-income individuals and families of all ages in Columbia County. The backpacks will be given to children in need in Columbia County. Each bag included crayons, markers, colored pencils, highlighters, pencils, memo pads, calculators, subject and composition notebooks, pencil boxes, as well as a Grand at Barnwell baseball caps. Featured in the photo are Barnwell residents, as well as Jake Chapler, administrator (back center), The Grand Rehabilitation and Nursing at Barnwell and Gail Paone (red shirt, center back), director of operations and outreach for Columbia Opportunities Inc.
