Allegiant starts service in Albany to three Florida cities

ALBANY — Allegiant this week begins new service from Albany to three cities in Florida: Tampa/St. Pete, Fort Myers/Punta Gorda and Orlando/Sanford.

“We’re excited to begin new nonstop, ultra-low-cost flights from our newest city, Albany,” said Drew Wells, Allegiant vice president of planning and revenue.

New year-round routes from Albany International Airport (ALB) include: Flight days, times and the lowest fares can be found only at Allegiant.com.

“Upstate New York vacationers and snow birds that vacation in Florida will embrace the convenience of Allegiant’s direct flights to the sunshine state,” said Rev. Kenneth Doyle, Chairman of the Albany County Airport Authority. “Allegiant’s system-wide low fares are anticipated to increase the airport’s passenger traffic as we complete several substantial airport improvement projects aimed at enhancing the passenger experience.”
