IN CELEBRATION OF OUR 13th ANNIVERSARY

The Hudson Jazz Workshop is a weekend immersion in Jazz improvisation and composition, with two of today’s leading practitioners of duo playing, ARMEN DONELIAN and MARC MOMMAAS. For thirteen years every summer, we have offered a supportive and focused atmosphere conducive to intensive study and mutual encouragement, through individual and group instruction, jam sessions and a faculty/student concert. Our enrollment is limited to 10 participants. Scholarship support is available. Wholesome meals are freshly prepared. This is a unique opportunity for musicians to freely convene, connect and collaborate without academic pressures or commercial distractions.

Past Guest Artists include David Liebman, Jim McNeely, Vic Juris, Joe Locke, Sheila Jordan, Reggie Workman, Claudio Roditi, Chris Washburn, Freddie Bryant and Jean Michel Pilc.

Past Participants have come from Argentina, Armenia, Brazil, Canada, Denmark, Holland, Italy, Japan, Nigeria, Norway, Poland, Spain and USA.

We thank you and are grateful for your support.
